Similkameen Apiary
Fruity, floral, herbaceous honey!
Blair and Cheryl Tarves have worked as beekeepers since 1981. On their organic farm near Cawston, B.C., they manage 200-300 hives, where their bees pollinate the many fruit trees in the Okanagan and Similkameen valleys every spring. In the summer, the bees go to the honey yards, where they produce honey from over a dozen floral sources such as White Clematis, Sweet Clover, Alfalfa, Oregon Grape, Knapweed, Milkweed, Chokecherry, SUman Elderberry, and Goldenrod.
We sell their liquid honey, or for a special treat, raw honeycomb. It’s fruity, floral, and herbaceous nectar!
