At Sunnyside Natural Market, we believe wholeheartedly in supporting local, organic, sustainable food producers. We believe that this kind of food production is the best way for us to affect positive change encouraging the health and vibrancy of our natural environment, our social communities, and our bodies.

Organic certification ensures that food producers meet a standard of growing, storing and processing food free from synthetic chemical inputs that have been proven harmful to our natural environment.

Buying local reduces the food miles our food travels to get from farms to our plates, thus reducing our carbon footprint. Supporting family farms creates real “face to face” relationships within communities and restores meaning to the act of growing food.

We believe that all these factors contribute to the health of our bodies and communities, and that food tastes better when it’s grown with care and love.
